is there a difference between 'games hire uk' and 'casino hire uk' ?
Aside from some clever marketing, both names are now the same business. Casinohireuk.com is our dedicated (and very popular) casino product website. It is a 'trading as' name to our parent company, Games Hire UK Ltd.

Historically, Casino Hire UK was a separate business. In 2021, after working together for several years, the original owner retired and both businesses were merged together.

Any booking you make with us, agreements entered into, and payments you send, will be with Games Hire UK Ltd.

Frequently asked casino questions:

WHAT ARE THE CASINO TABLE DIMENSIONS?
Average sizes are copied below. Tables have been made by different manufacturers over a number of years but are all of very similar size.

Roulette
7 foot width  x 5 foot depth

Blackjack
5 foot width x 4 foot depth

Stud Poker
5 foot width x 4 foot depth

Texas Poker
8 foot width x 4 foot depth
This game requires 7-8 chairs around the table)

Craps / Dice
8 foot width x 4 foot depth

By ‘width’ we mean usually along a walll, and by ‘depth’ we mean from the wall out into the room.
There also needs to be sufficient space for a group of up to 10 guests to gather around each table.
how does a fun casino typically run?
- Fun money is handed out to guests by our staff, or can be distributed by the client in advance at a drinks reception or at dinner place settings

- Guests swap their fun money token at the tables for a pot of casino chips and play the games as normal. Staff assist as required if guests need a helping hand with how the games work

- When guests leave the tables, they swap their chips for a ‘fun cheque’, which shows their name and how much they have won. Chips do not leave the casino tables at any point, as they are required to use at the tables. They can either hold onto their cheque to try and win any prize, or put it back into play at any table to try and win more.

- At the end of the night, the highest cheque in the room wins the prize. Staff will work this out between them and let you know the winner.

- Please note that our staff do not handle cash at any point of the night. Fun casino hire is provided for entertainment and we do not handle or arrange cash prizes. However if you are fundraising for charity, you are welcome to sell the fun money tokens at a side table or over a bar or similar.

The legalities on running a non-commercial casino night can be viewed at the Gambling Commission website below:

CAN WE FUNDRAISE FOR CHARITY?
Yes - our fun money tokens can be sold to guests to fundraise for charity. We keep track of the scores and winners can be awarded prizes at the end. We recommend that prizes be something worth aiming for, but they do not need to be hugely expensive. For example, past clients have given away a bottle of champagne, dinner for two at a local restaurant, an overnight stay at a hotel, etc. Higher end examples have included spa weekends, iPad's and MacBooks, even a trip to Vegas!

The transaction to the charity can be cash or card, but needs to be handled by the event organising team at a side table or booth.. This is to differentiate between the charity and the casino. If the casino staff handle a payment transaction, this gives the impression of us running a 'real' casino which can cause confusion for guests, who may expect a cash payment in return if they win at the tables.

Our staff are there to run the casino tables and put on a great night for your guests - we do not handle cash transactions at any time.

CAN WE GAMBLE FOR CASH?
We don't handle cash at our casino events - we are an events company specialising in offering a casino experience, but we are not running a real casino. Offering cash prizes can change the whole experience for guests and it can be taken too seriously - nobody wants to remember your party because they lost their money!

We are there to entertain, have some fun, and give guests an enjoyable experience to remember.
